Friday Favorites #4

Wow, I say this every week but I can’t believe its Friday. With both girls in dance right now 2 different nights a week the weekdays are just flying by.

We don’t have a ton of plans this weekend, which I think we are all excited about. We haven’t had a free weekend since school started in August. Its much needed. I do have plans to work on some freezer meals for a friend and were hoping to potty train Syd Boo. We’ll see how it goes. Hopefully she’s a lot easier on us than her big sister was!

Today’s Friday Favorites is all things Halloween. We did a tiny trunk or treat the other night and it was so fun! We are all pretty excited for Halloween to get here now.

Favorite Recipe: Mummy Dogs. Oh em gee! How cute are these. My girls will get a kick out of them. I’m thinking of making them Monday night for dinner. So cute and so easy!

Favorite Outdoor Decor: How cute is this front porch! We never really decorate big for Halloween but I would totally love to do something like this next year. Its simple and cute but still totally Halloween.

Favorite Couple Costume: Bugs and Lola. How stinking cute is this idea. I loved this movie growing up. The hubs and I don’t usually dress up but I think next year we will. Liv wanted us to this year but she didn’t say anything till yesterday so we decided next year we will. Keeping this idea around for 2018!

Favorite Halloween Treats: Halloween Pretzel Broom Sticks Like I said in this post I’m in charge of treat bags for Miss O’s Halloween party at school and I love the idea of not sending the kids home with just candy. I think these would be so cute and fun!

Are you excited for Halloween?

Friday Favorites #2

Good Morning friends! Its Friday and I couldn’t be more excited. We got to sleep in about an hour and mama got to drink her coffee while it was still hot! Its going to be a great day!

Were headed to the pumpkin patch today. Miss O knows were headed to a “surprise” but doesn’t quite know where yet. They are going to have so much fun. We are still trying to decide which place to take them to. So many great pumpkin patches in the KC area that all have such great reviews. Follow me on instagram to see where we end up!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. We will be enjoying ours. Now, I’m going to leave you with my Friday favorites.

Favorite Halloween Treat Bag: Halloween Play-Doh Monster Kits. I’m in charge of treat bags for O’s Halloween party and I thought what more fun than bringing something like this. Pinterest is full of ideas and I really want to bring something besides candy since they will be getting so many treats that day. What kid doesn’t love play-doh!

Favorite Cookie Recipe: Oatmeal Cream Pies. My kids and hubs love these! I remember getting them as a treat when I was a little girl. It was so fun. Now when they all go grocery shopping they beg for them. Sometimes we get them, sometimes we don’t. Then I found this recipe and now I can’t wait to make then. Miss O will be so excited to help me!

Favorite DIY: Disstressed Dollar Store Pumpkins. How cute are these! I love a good DIY and I mostly love a good DIY from the Dollar Tree. I can’t wait to try this out. I’m loving the look of white pumpkins this year. This would be the perfect touch to our fall decorations.

Favorite Outfit: I love a good basic outfit like this. Nothing fancy about it but still looks put together. I love a great plain basic tee. Grays and blacks are my favorite. Plus this skinnies are amazing. I’m thinking now I need to go search for some just like this.

Friday Favorites

Guys, I can’t believe its finally Fall. This week has given me all the fall feels and I absolutely love it. We have tons of plans for the weekend but I’m really hoping to get all my fall decor out and finally get some pumpkins on our front porch. I really love decorating for holiday/seasons. Christmas is my favorite holiday to decorate but there’s something about decorating fall that gives me all the feels and just puts me in the best mood!

My Friday favorites are something I did on my old blog and its such a fun post for me. I find all my favorite things I’ve come across on the internet (mostly pinterest) and share my amazing finds. It might be obvious but this Friday favorites is going to be all things fall. 🙂

Favorite outfit: How stinking cute is this! I love any outfit with strips, vest or flannel in the fall and this one has 2 out of the 3 so its a home run in my book. Plus, the added cheetah print is amazing. This is one outfit I will be recreating for my fall look.

Favorite DIY: Pumpkin Vase. This is so cute. I’m really thinking I need to make something like this to go on my table. Its the type of decor I love because its totally fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving all in one. It really looks pretty simple to put together too.

Favorite Recipe: Cinnamon Sugar Soft Pretzels. These delicious looking pretzels are screaming my name. I’ve recently taken up the interest in trying to bake bread and bread type things. These pretzels are totally going on my list. I can not wait to try them. Its one thing I know my whole family will enjoy.

Favorite Candle: Pumpkin Roll from Candelles. I just found this company on Instagram. In fact, I really don’t remember how I came across them, but I remember thinking “my goodness I need to order that candle,” and well now I want to order them all. I love little business like this. And while I love supporting Missouri busniess more than anything, these folks are from Pennsylvania. Their story of how the hobby of making candles turned into a business is a great one.
